What is the difference between Fake, Mink and Magnetic lashes

The Differences Between Fake Lashes, Mink Lashes, And Magnetic Lashes.

With the various types of false lashes available on the market today, choosing the type of false lashes you want to purchase, can be a bit overwhelming. Especially when you don’t even know the differences between the false lashes when trying to select the one you think would be the best one for you. Fortunately for you, since you are reading this article, that difficulty will be a thing of the past soon, because we are going to break it down and also explain the major differences between the three types of false lashes: Fake lashes, mink lashes, and magnetic lashes.

We really hope this article guides you in making the right decisions that will make your eyes more beautiful.

Also known as synthetic lashes, fake lashes are the most common types of false lashes you will find on the market today, and they are available in almost every local beauty store and drugstore. Fake lashes are also the number one go-to false lashes for any woman that is on a budget because they are usually the most inexpensive false lashes you can find on the market. Fake lashes are also common among women that aim to achieve a very dramatic look with false lashes.

However, fake lashes differ from other types of lashes in different ways. Some of which are;

  • Fake lashes do not look natural the way other false lashes look. They are usually made from synthetic materials or man-made fibers, so they are always thicker than mink lashes, and usually have stubbier ends.

  • Fake lashes are mostly made to be used just once, and two to three times in some other cases. Considering the cost of fake lashes run from $5 up it can get expensive if you wear fake lashes often. So false lashes are most economical  for that one casual event or night out.

  • Because fake lashes are made from man-made fibers, they always have a glossy and shining appearance, which tends to make it look unnatural.

  • Also, you can rest assured that fake lashes do not cause any damage to your natural lashes.

Mink lashes are made from real mink fur, so they are the most natural looking  lashes you can find on the market, although they are usually expensive. But considering that you get up to 25 wearings from the lashes it is a far better value than fake lashes. They are also the most luxurious types of lashes as they are made with unique and natural materials that give them a unique look. So if you are looking for natural looking false lashes that will last long, then mink lashes are what you have been looking for. They are made to match the texture and look of your real lashes, so you sure know you are getting value for your money

The standard mink lashes are known to always give a soft and fluffy feel whenever they are applied, and also very lightweight too. With the proper care, mink lashes usually last for a long time.

Faux mink lashes, on the other hand, were designed to imitate the standard mink lashes that everyone knows but they are no substitute for real mink lashes.

Unlike the mink lashes and faux mink lashes, the silk mink lashes are known to be the thickest and the least light-weighted. Although this doesn’t mean it is difficult to wear them, it is mainly used by women whose real lashes are weak and scanty. So, silk mink lashes are designed to provide and create a natural lash look irrespective of the length or size worn.

You should be guessing by now that mink lashes are a bit pricey compared to fake or synthetic lashes. Mink lashes are more expensive because it is a premium product, and can even be considered a beauty investment. You can use it over, over, and over again. And you will enjoy the full benefits that mink lashes have to offer.

Magnetic lashes are a type of false lashes that does not require glue before they can be used. Just like their name implies, they usually have an almost invisible magnet at the tips where the glue is supposed to be applied. So all you have to do is to just correctly position the strips on your real lashes, and voila you've got yourself a pair of gorgeous eyes without any stress. Magnetic lashes are made with light magnets, so contrary to what you might think, magnetic lashes are not heavy.

However there are many complaints about the lashes. Lash wearers don't feel they look natural, the magnetic lashes have to be adjusted often which can affect makeup, and that the magnetic lashes look obviously fake.

Magnetic lashes can be used  multiple times, but not nearly the 20 to 25 times of mink lashes.

Choosing The Type Of False Lashes, You Want To Purchase

When it finally comes to choosing the type of lashes you want to purchase, you already know the mink lashes and the magnetic lashes are more expensive. The difference is that mink lashes will give you more wearings. So deciding the amount of money you want to spend is also important. Then you can now consider the quality levels, convenience levels, your real lash type, and what you need the lashes for will also help you decide.

If you already know how to apply false lashes, and all you need is just the perfect lashes, or if you have sparse lashes. Then there is no better way to look amazing, and make your eyes more beautiful than with mink lashes. You already know what to expect!

On the other hand, if you are starting out and all you want are lashes that you can wear a couple of times, then magnetic lashes  or fake lashes are definitely what you need.

In conclusion, the goal of every false lash is to enhance your real lashes, so no matter the type of false lashes you choose, false lashes remain a significant beauty investment. False lashes are also a great way to enhance your eyes, add glamour to your daily makeup look, intensify your high-end makeups and make them stand out the more.
